Trunki HQ moves
Just not had the time to blog recently with this new office move, recruiting and getting ready for Christmas. But we’ve finally found, signed up and moved into our new premises. Big thanks to my folks and uncle who help with their camper vans, and now expert furniture building girlfriend. I’m delighted to be back in Bristol, no more commuting to Bath - although it’s a lovely place with beautiful people (unfortunately I can’t say the same about Stokes Croft but it’s got character to go with the lower rent!). The Trunkis were growing up so fast we didn't realise we had outgrown our last space till it was painfully obvious. From the first Google search to moving in was a short two months. I have to say there are some incredibly uninspiring work spaces out there, we were lucky to find this recently renovated workshop, with a high ceiling (better for the creative energy) some character, and managed to convince the landlord to lay wooden floors. As a creative company I fundamentally believe you get a lot more out of your team if they enjoy their surroundings, after all we all send the largest portions of our lives at work!
